Come join us in our McKenzie drift boat, and fish the Androscoggin River in New Hampshire for rainbow, brook and brown trout. Perhaps you would like to try the East Outlet of the Kennebec in Maine, where we will cast to salmon and brook trout on this world renowned river.

A drift boat is without a doubt the best platform to fish from on our big brawny New England rivers. The Hyde drift boat affords the fishermen a flat floor that allows you to stand up and cast, even in heavy, fast water. Your guide will set you up on pools and lies that are inaccessible to wading fishermen. If you are tired of slipping and sliding on those greasy river rocks, come and enjoy the comfort of a drift boat. You will reach parts of the river that you just can’t access any other way. Fishing from the middle of the river to rising fish up against the banks is something you can do from a boat that is not so easy when you are on foot. Enjoy a shore lunch with a fishing buddy or come alone, the price is the same.

There are many hatches that occur on these rivers. One that is of most interest is the Alder Fly hatch on the Androscoggin. Typically it occurs around the third week in June. It can be a very prolific hatch and will astound the average fishermen. These big caddis come off in swarms and the trout are very responsive. From the drift boat it is truly a spectacular exhibition. Come and join us and we'll show you classic dry fly fishing in the "Grand Bois Du Nord" of New Hampshire.

Drift Boat Trips are a full day, 1 or 2 people with a shore lunch $350
